Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh); Mick Rory/Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell); and Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), along with newcomers Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and Carter Hall/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel). Thursday slot. “The 100″ will start its third season at 9 the same night. “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” move to Fridays, beginning Jan. 29. “Reign” has its winter finale Jan. 22 and will return later in the season, The CW said. The cast includes Victor Garber (“The Flash,” “Alias”), Brandon Routh (“Arrow,” “Superman Returns”), Arthur Darvill (“Doctor Who”), Caity Lotz (“Arrow”), Ciara Renee (“Pippin”) and Franz Drameh (“Edge of Tomorrow”), with Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller, who both starred in “The Flash” and “Prison Break.”

It’s packed with new footage, including looks at an ancient Vandal, the team’s flying base, what appears to be an upcoming mission to the ‘70s, and some potentially nefarious plots by the two villains among the group. While all this footage is getting us pumped for the series to come, there’s one line Hunter speaks that’s particularly intriguing. “I’ve seen men of steel die and dark knights fall.
