Disney Releases New “Zootopia” Trailer.

The trailer, released by Walt Disney Animation Studios on Monday, focuses on Flash (voiced by Raymond Persi) — the “fastest” sloth working at the DMV.In the trailer for Disney’s Zootopia, audiences are introduced to Officer Judy Hopp (Ginnifer Goodwin), an enthusiastic, bright-eyed bunny eager for her big break. In the preview for the animated movie, which comes from the creators of previous Disney hits “Wreck-It Ralph” and “Tangled,” a rabbit police officer named Judy (Ginnifer Goodwin of “Once Upon a Time”) is in a hurry to crack a case, and that means she has to run a suspicious license-plate number down at the “Department of Mammal Vehicles.” Unfortunately for her, everyone who works there is a sloth.

One staffer named Flash is tasked with helping her run the plate, but it ends up taking much longer than Judy had hoped. “Zootopia” also features the voice of Jason Bateman as a con-artist fox named Nick, who is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. The movie is set in the modern mammal metropolis of the title, and centers on the uneasy friendship between rookie police officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and the fast-talking con artist Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman). With smart-aleck Nick Wild (Jason Bateman) by her side, Officer Hopp heads to the DMV – otherwise known as the Department of Mammal Vehicles – for some scoop on a license plate she suspects is connected to the felony.

Co-director Rich Moore and co-writer Phil Johnston previously worked on 2012′s “Wreck-It Ralph,” while co-director Byron Howard also co-directed 2010′s “Tangled.” Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. Directors Byron Howard and Rich Moore both have Oscar®-nominated films: Howard directed Disney’s 2008 feature “Bolt,” and Moore directed 2012’s arcade-game-hopping adventure “Wreck-It Ralph,” which was produced by “Zootopia” producer Clark Spencer.
