Don’t even try to wake up Jessica Jones in Netflix series’ new teaser.

The clip shows Jones (Krysten Ritter) sound asleep as a clock by her bed strikes 3 p.m. — but when the alarm goes off, she uses her super-strength to get a bit more shut-eye. In case you’re unsure of what the series is about, here’s the official synopsis from Netflix: “After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City. It’s time the world knew her name…” As mentioned, this teaser trailer is the first time we’ve seen Jessica Jones in any other than the official promotional pictures. It would be cool if we got little teasers like this right up until the full series trailer hits, which will probably a few weeks before the show ends up on Netflix.

The camera tracks across a bedroom floor, revealing discarded food wrappers, a newspaper, clothes, photos, a camera and an empty bottle of Jack Daniels. In the series, Krysten Ritter stars as Jessica Jones, alongside Mike Colter (Luke Cage), David Tennant (Kilgrave), and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple). This trailer is very much a teaser in that it doesn’t have any actual footage from the show, but it does offer a brief tease of the vibe we might expect-and it’s amusing! The first teaser trailer released for Jessica Jones announced the release date of the series and also gave viewers a look at the style for the series.

Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter in the lead role, David Tennant as Kllgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Rachael Taylor as Patsy Walker, as well as Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval.
