‘Donald Trump’ Shares His Naughty and Nice List on Saturday Night Live.

In the cold open of this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, Trump and his wife Melania – played by cast members Taran Killam and Cecily Strong – offered a Christmas message to the world. “Saturday Night Live’s” cold open featured the cast’s own Donald and Melania Trump, with the Republican presidential contender offering his “naughty or nice list.” “I want to wish everyone out here a Merry Christmas, to the Jews Happy Hanukkah, and to the Muslims, send me your names,” SNL’s Taran Killam said before getting to his list. “First up, the polls: Very nice,” he said. “The last poll has me leading by 20 percent!

After referencing his proposal for a database on all Muslims living in the United States and his home’s over-the-top decor, Trump introduces his own Naughty and Nice List – which was totally his own original idea. It’s starting to sink in, people — I’m gonna be president!” He also rates former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whom he calls “the nutcracker,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and even dear old Saint Nick himself. But spoiler alert: Santa Claus is on the naughty list! “Controversial, I know,” Trump says. “But look at the facts: This guy’s a foreigner who works one day out of the year and gives handouts! I’m going to be president!” Also on the nice list was “The Nutcracker,” Hillary Clinton. “I know, I couldn’t believe it,” the GOP frontrunner said. “She actually called me the other day” and said she really, really wanted him to be the Republican nominee. And then there was Mark Zuckerberg, who recently decided to give away almost all of his enormous fortune, a move that immediately put him on Trump’s “naughty” list. “If you give away your money, how will you stay married?” Melania asked.

One other problem that we have is that given that there are two more episodes this year, should we really be getting in to Christmas-themed sketches already? Settl – A very short faux-commercial about a dating app for women wanting to get married right away; therefore, they take what they can get from men. NSA screening – This was a bizarre but absolutely hilarious exercise in watching as many different cast members as possible break character in a short amount of time, mostly because of house Kate McKinnon completely crushed this as a chain-smoking alien abductee. This may be one of our favorite performances in a single sketch in quite some time, and it felt like almost no one in the cast knew what she was going to say. Melanie – A nice showcase for Aidy Bryant that was also another reminder that while Ryan was clearly enjoying being on the show, he is not good at staying in character.

Weekend Update – We’re not entirely sure that everyone on Twitter seems to know what the whole “tech expert” played by Cecily Strong was proofing: Companies hiring women to just aggressively pander and flirt. It’s about how certain companies try to insult the intelligence of their consumer base … kind of like how Anthony Crispino does to us on a regular basis with this Second-Hand News. The issue here to us is that while we love Bobby Moynihan, his impression of Danny DeVito really isn’t that great other than the bald cap and the hair. The Wiz – Super-predictable that there would be a “Wiz” spoof somewhere in the show, given the fun that “SNL” has had with some of the other network musicals.
