Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Results: Rumer Willis Wins, Beats Riker Lynch and Noah Galloway!.

Though Demi Moore once admitted that her daughter Rumer Willis’ choice to compete on Dancing with the Stars had her “insides … screaming ‘No,’ ” Moore’s eldest daughter with Bruce Willis is now the proud owner of a Mirrorball Trophy. During the show, Moore, 52, took a moment to snap a selfie with Scout, 23, and Tallulah, 21, to cheer on Rumer and Val in advance of their final dance – looks like the well wishes did the trick! “One of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed is watching [Rumer’s] passion become greater than her fear,” said Moore during a taped segment on DWTS as she reflected on Rumer’s time spent in the competition. “It has nothing to do with her being my kid or Bruce’s kid. After receiving yet another perfect score for a foxtrot/paso doble fusion routine the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore was triumphant with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy. After 13 weeks of grueling training the couple raised the 10-year anniversary golden Mirrorball Trophy prize – marking the show’s 20th season finale.

And while she’ll never be completely separated — the camera obsessively panned to Bruce, a proud dad, beaming in the audience during the finale — at least now, people know she’s a pretty talented dancer. Rumer and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, stood out through the whole season and she quickly became a frontrunner thanks to their smoldering chemistry. (They knew each other before the show, so that probably helped.) Some of us — ahem — even called her victory after the very first episode of the season. At various points in the season, all three remaining couples — Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy, Riker Lynch and Allison Holker, and Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess — brought the judges to tears.

Next was busty model/actress Charlotte McKinney, 21, who paraded among giant crabs and dancing dolphins for a beach-themed ditty with South African professional Keo Motsepe. Plus, the judges adored her. “You are as good as anyone who has ever been on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” notoriously cranky judge Len Goodman gushed on Tuesday night. Next was former The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro who played Carlton on the 90s sitcom and won season 19 of the dancing competition show. ‘You have given me so much love and support in doing this and I couldn’t be more proud to take over for you,’ said Alfonso, muddling his words slightly in his eagerness. Carrie Ann Inaba called her “just the real deal” while Bruno Tonioli went with “an utterly irresistible shining star.” Julianne Hough upped the ante: “You make me want to be a better dancer,” she said. After her ‘shock elimination’ in the seventh week Hunger Games star Willow Shields, 14, played Alice In Wonderland dramatically with Mark Ballas – who was dressed as a ‘crazy rabbit’ according to Tom Bergeron.

Host Tom Bergeron didn’t get his traditional “ask the winners how they feel while they’re presented with the extremely gaudy Mirror Ball trophy” segment, given that there was too much excited chaos on the dance floor. After suffering from exhaustion in the run up Riker and Allison pulled in a final reserve of vibrancy for a salsa/quickstep fusion to MKTO’s track Classic. Seventy-year-old Grammy winner Patti LaBelle was welcomed back after being eliminated earlier this season to belt out her heartbreak song 2 Steps Away.

From their first dance, they caught the judges’ attention for their passion and flair, but at times Willis’s competitive nature got the better of her. She stumbled occasionally under the pressure, but by the finals she and Chmerkovskiy had hit their stride, earning rave reviews from every person at the judges’ table.

It was obvious the super-energetic Riker and his partner, Allison Holker, weren’t meant for Mirror Ball glory when the judge Julianne Hough gave him this gem of a backhanded compliment: “If this whole show was based off of showmanship, it’s yours. But it’s more than that, so we’ll see.” Other contestants this season, which averaged about 12 million viewers a week and slightly down from last year, included gymnast Nastia Liukin; football player Michael Sam; actress Suzanne Somers; actress Willow Shields; LMFAO musician Redfoo; singer Patti LaBelle; model Charlotte McKinney; “Bachelor” Chris Soules; and “Shark Tank” judge Robert Herjavec.
