Christina Applegate Reunites With Her Married With Children Costar David Faustino: Photos!.

OK, so yes, it’s really actors David Faustino and Christina Applegate, but we’re happy to see the former Married… with Children co-stars reunited at the premiere of Applegate’s latest movie, Vacation. Love and…vacation! threw back to her Bundy days when she reunited with her Married With Children costar at the L.A. premiere of Vacation on Monday, July 27.If you too herald Peg and Kelly Bundy as a fashion icon of the ’90s, get excited, because among all the reunions coming our way, it looks like there’s gonna be one for Married!… With Children, too. Because the world is maybe about to get more “Married With Children” on the tube, and we could not be more excited to find out what has happened to the loathsome foursome, Al (Ed O’Neill), Peg (Katey Sagal), Kelly (Christina Applegate), and Bud (David Faustino) who sassed up the sitcom regime for 11 straight seasons.

But like any actress who passes on a part, or simply doesn’t get it, Applegate is definitely happy with the way Legally Blonde turned out. “Reese deserved that. They’re excited about it,” the actor told E! at Monday night’s premiere of his former “Married” co-star Christina Applegate’s new movie, “Vacation.” One issue that they don’t have to worry about is getting his fellow Bundys — his on-screen parents Ed O’Neill and Katey Sagal and sister Applegate — to “do little bits” in a prospective pilot. “All of us have said we would all be there for (Faustino),” Applegate told E!, adding that she could picture exactly what her ditzy blond character would be up to as an adult. “Kelly Bundy probably has like 10 kids.

She did a much better job than I ever could, and so that’s her life,” she explained. “That’s her path.” For Applegate, her path landed her the hilarious role of Debbie Griswold in Vacation, out in theaters on Friday. Online, Kelly and Bud were in attendance at the “Vacation” premiere on Monday (July 27) night and opened up about the very real possibility that the show will be rebooted with Faustino’s new pitch, which is only held up by some pesky “legal” issues at the moment. “Sony has it.

They’re excited about it,” said Faustino, who had a mini-reunion with his former on-screen sister-slash-arch nemesis for the 11-season series. “They’re working out some legal issues that we hope they work out. She had tired so much of playing television’s archetypal dumb blond for 10 seasons that she turned down the lead role in 2001’s “Legally Blonde” that ultimately went to Reese Witherspoon. “And here’s one of my biggest regrets: One of those was ‘Legally Blonde,’” the actress told the Daily News last week. “I just didn’t want to play a dumb blond again.

The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it, and we hope it comes together.” “The idea would be a pilot for a spin-off,” he added. “It involves me and few other people, but like I said, there are legal issues to work out. Back in March 2014, the Up All Night alum said that she and her former costars try to get together when they can. “Ed, Katey and David and I have been trying to get this dinner together, which is almost impossible because everybody’s so busy, except for me,” Applegate told The Huffington Post at the time. “So, we’re working on that right now.” She added: “We just kind of catch up on what’s been happening in our family’s lives and stuff like that.” Earlier this month, Applegate also revealed how she would react if Hollywood ever did a reboot. “Go for it.

There are definitely some possibilities: For instance, in the series, Bud was the hapless little brother of the family, who was as depraved as the rest of his family remembers — but he was also the smart one on the show, and ended up being the only Bundy to finish college. If the show is gonna pick up where they left off with Bud, he might be a famous talent agent now: at the end of the series, he decided to manage his sister Kelly’s acting career (and by acting career I mean the shampoo ads, but still). Maybe he and Peggy got divorced (because she was obviously WAY too good for him) and now he’s moving back in with Bud? (If all is right in the world, Peggy Bundy would be off somewhere enjoying the lavish life of a socialite and married to a much younger man.) As for Kelly, Applegate herself had some guesses about Kelly at the Vacation premiere.
