Chris Pratt : ‘I am just dumb’.

Actor Chris Pratt posted an apology to Facebook this weekend to apologize in advance for any offensive comments he may unintentionally make on his Jurassic Park press tour. “I hope you understand it was never my intention to offend anyone and I am truly sorry. The 35-year-old actor posted a hilarious apology on his Facebook page saying sorry for anything offensive he may have uttered while doing interviews for the upcoming “Jurassic World” movie.

The star of Jurassic World (and cover subject of EW’s Must Issue) is already booked up for the next year thanks to a remake of The Magnificent Seven, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and possibly the sci-fi romance Passengers with Jennifer Lawrence. Having gone through the grueling junket ringer last year promoting “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Pratt is keenly aware how exhaustion can lead to unintentional slips of the tongue. “I am not in the business of making excuses. But the actor admits he’s eager to get out of Hollywood for the sake of his 2-year old son, Jack. “I don’t wanna raise Jack here,” admits Pratt, who’s married to Mom star Anna Faris. “Anna and I are both from Washington State.

And I fully regret what I (accidentally will have) said in (the upcoming foreign and domestic) interview(s).’ The 35-year-old when on to explain that he’s ‘just plain dumb. I am fully aware that the subject matter of my imminent forthcoming mistake, a blunder (possibly to be) dubbed “JurassicGate” is (most likely) in no way a laughing matter,” Pratt wrote. Early this month, Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans made unwanted headlines during this press tour when they called their co-star Scarlett Johansson‘s character Black Widow a “slut” in an interview. Come back later.’ And also, I like the country and clean air and things just slowed down.” But he adds, “We will stay in L.A. as long as Anna is doing her show.” Pratt’s goal is to make life as simple for Jack as possible.
