Chris Evans and Chris Pratt are in a Super Bowl Twitter smackdown.

While the two actors both play superheroes in blockbuster Marvel franchises, the pair are rivals when it comes to their favorite sports teams, who will play each other in the 2015 Super Bowl on Feb. 1.Chris Evans and Chris Pratt, stars of two of the year’s highest-grossing superhero films, are in the middle of a Twitter smackdown over the Super Bowl. Pratt, who plays “Guardians of the Galaxy’s” Star-Lord, roots for the Seattle Seahawks, while Evans, who plays Captain America, is a fan of the New England Patriots. In a Twitter exchange earlier this week, the stars good-naturedly bantered about their favorite teams before agreeing to a bet that would benefit two local children’s charities: Seattle Children’s Hospital and Christopher’s Haven in Boston.

Marvel heroes Chris Pratt and Chris Evans have raised the stakes in their Super Bowl showdown, each agreeing to dress up as his respective superhero during a visit to a charity of the other actor’s choosing. But considering Pratt’s fondness for visiting children’s hospitals dressed as his superhero character, it wouldn’t be a surprise if both movie stars make good on their wager.
