Chris Evans and Chris Pratt make Super Bowl bet for charity.

Marvel movie superheroes Chris Evans and Chris Partt are using their football fan rivalry for good by challenging each other to a Super Bowl bet for charity. The latter was Chris Pratt’s character from last summer’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” while Chris Evans played Captain America in a number of films. While the two actors both play superheroes in blockbuster Marvel franchises, the pair are rivals when it comes to their favorite sports teams, who will play each other in the 2015 Super Bowl on Feb. 1.

The actors’ hometown teams are going head to head in the big game on February 1, with Evans’ New England Patriots facing off against Pratt’s reigning Super Bowl champs, the Seattle Seahawks. Captain America Evans started taunting the Guardians of the Galaxy star Pratt on Twitter.com on Monday, the day after the Patriots clinched a spot in the Super Bowl with a convincing victory over the Indianapolis Colts. If the Patriots win, Pratt will have to wear a Tom Brady jersey and visit Christopher’s Haven, which provides supportive housing for families whose children are receiving outpatient pediatric cancer treatments in Boston. In a Twitter exchange earlier this week, the stars good-naturedly bantered about their favorite teams before agreeing to a bet that would benefit two local children’s charities: Seattle Children’s Hospital and Christopher’s Haven in Boston.

But considering Pratt’s fondness for visiting children’s hospitals dressed as his superhero character, it wouldn’t be a surprise if both movie stars make good on their wager.
