Chris Brown delayed in leaving Philippines by airport officials over contractual dispute.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) issued an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against Brown following requests from Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), according to the state-run agency. It said a complaint had been raised by the INC against the singer and his promoter after he allegedly failed to appear at a concert at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, in Manila, on New Year’s Eve. The Associated Press said the 26-year-old was stopped as his private jet prepared to depart from Manila’s international airport for another concert in Hong Kong on Wednesday morning, pending clearance from the immigration bureau. A spokesperson for Brown told The Independent the incident was a “misunderstanding” that has since been resolved, adding that would Brown would fly to Hong Kong tomorrow .

The recording artist, who performed at a packed concert Tuesday night in Manila, was prevented from leaving on a private plane Wednesday pending clearance by the Bureau of Immigration.
