Former Georgia Tech player delivers fiancee’s baby.

Singer Teyana Taylor welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with the Cleveland Cavaliers shooting and point guard on Wednesday, Dec. 16, she announced Thursday on Instagram. Daughter Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. was originally due in mid-January, taking her parents by surprise when Taylor went into labor a month ahead of schedule. “On Dec 16th at 6:42 a.m. in our bathroom, Junie decided she wanted to take her first breath into this world. Taylor posted on her Instagram account that she didn’t initially realize she was in labor and Shumpert, “playing Dr,” helped deliver the baby with “his bare hands.” Taylor says Shumpert tied a pair of headphones around the umbilical cord while they waited for the ambulance to arrive. He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is,” the “Google Me” singer shares. “She has blown Christmas away!

Daddy delivered you. #MeetTheParents we love you baby girl.” “We people, show the world what we feel the world should see when we want them to see it … something this beautiful had to be announced when we were ready for everyone to know … this is what happiness grows into!” he captioned the image.
