‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 spoilers/speculations: EP Caroline Dries teases Michael Trevino’s return, Tyler-Caroline relationship.

Sure, we know that ‘ most handsome and irresponsible teacher, Alaric Saltzman (), is a dad in the tumblr sense of the word. Series seven will be the first without actress Nina Dobrev, who played Elena Gilbert, and Paul – who plays vampire Stefan Salvatore – hinted her exit is behind the new direction. “Elena’s gone, so there’s going to be a natural shift in the show.Tonight on the CW starring Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley continues with an all new Thursday October 29, season 7 episode 4 called “I Carry Your Heart With Me,” and we have your weekly recap and spoilers below.

In addition to giving us some stories when it comes to the main characters on “The Vampire Diaries,” one thing that the show has been rather effective at is taking its time to tell the stories of many members of the recurring cast. But after Thursday’s episode, which featured a flash-forward showing the grieving widower as a father of two small children, we’re thinking he might actually be an actual dad too. On tonight’s episode, an unexpected turn of events leaves Damon (Ian Somerhalder) scrambling and his actions gain the unwanted attention of Mary Louise (Teressa Liane) and Nora.(Scarlett Byrne) On the last episode, Damon went on a road trip with Bonnie and Alaric to find something he can use against his mother; Caroline, who was being held hostage by the Heretics, learned some shocking information about Valerie’s past; Stefan learned a few unexpected detailed about his own past from Lily; Alaric turned to Bonnie for her help after coming clean about a secret he’s been keeping. However, it was more of a babysitting date for Caroline (Candice King) and Stefan (Paul Wesley), who still couldn’t make any physical contact, and had to watch Heretics to makes sure they weren’t killing innocent kids. Executive producer Caroline Dries assures in an interview that the TVD fans will continue to see Trevino as a special guest cast member in the CW TV series’ new season.

The show needs a fresh spin, so it feels like a fortuitous opportunity to do something new.” Ian added: “This is Mystic Falls without Elena Gilbert, so we want to go back to the storytelling of season one and season two, which was fun, sexy and volatile. Their story was about them in part coming together … but interestingly, they came back together thanks to someone out to destroy or at least threaten them in Stefan. Meaning…something super crazy and supernatural is happening here, because as we know, his pregnant wife was massacred by the evil Kai shortly after Alaric and Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) tied the knot at the end of season six. So, Bonnie(Kat Graham), Alaric and Damon worked hard to use the stone spell to bring back the dead — but Jo’s body took a back burner to Oscar’s. Since he knew that Valerie would not cancel out the whole no-kissing pact, he had to rely instead on convincing one of two aforementioned ladies to do so instead.

Dries further admitted that TVD character Tyler is one of Mystic Falls’ success stories because his appearance suggests he was able to escape the supernatural town, survive and do well in life. Meanwhile, Enzo sets off on a mission to find out what Valerie is hiding; and a plan set by Alaric and Bonnie leaves their worlds turned upside down.” You’re not going to want to miss any of the action tonight, so tune in at 8PM EST to the CW to catch the latest. Stefan is the momma’s boy and I think she’s going to get inbetween them,” the 33-year-old star teased. “You want to assume that your mum is a great person and that she’s really going to love you.

The second episode’s flashforward scene did not reveal who Caroline will marry, but Tyler’s return has ignited the speculations that he is the mystery fiancé. But he did get Elena’s body out of it — and got Tyler Lockwood to return to take away the coffin. (Lookin good, Ty!) So now Damon’s a complete sap, writing in a journal to Elena and well, he’s pretty much Stefan. #SorryNotSorry Meanwhile, Stefan and Caroline’s love story was still budding but she wasn’t thrilled he hadn’t come face to face with Valerie yet, plus she needed him to ask her to undo the spell so she could touch him again. Maybe the Phoenix Stone isn’t evil at all, and she and Alaric will live happily ever after with their also-resurrected babies and absolutely no negative side effects whatsoever!

But regardless of why those people seem to be in so much pain, the point is that using this stone can only lead to trouble with a capital T and that rhymes with P and that stands for Phoenix Stone. (Sorry, I just experienced my own personal form of possession.) But I digress… I mean, just because Jo opened her eyes doesn’t mean that she’s the same person we got to know all throughout last year. The guy says he doesn’t want to know what sick thing he’s doing with his wife’s body and says even refrigerated bodies have an expiration date and Jo is on her last day.

He doesn’t know who that is and she says he will want Julian as far away as possible especially if he wants Lily to love him the same way he loves her. Mary Louise rips the girl’s heart out and rants at her about her not adjusting to the new world and how she needs space – just like Caroline said.
