Annie Leibovitz Will Photograph Bruce Jenner for Vanity Fair Cover.

Bruce Jenner is apparently ready and will unveil his new look as a woman with a Vanity Fair cover photo that will be shot by none other than Annie Leibovitz, according to People.Bruce Jenner has landed an upcoming cover for Vanity Fair, the first print photo shoot and interview since the former Olympian revealed plans to transition from male to female. The cover photo is part of a “carefully executed PR plan [that] was concocted with the help of stepdaughter Kim Kardashian and ex-wife Kris Jenner,” reports the New York Daily News.

Our source adds that another option Jenner is considering is to take a page out of Angelina Jolie’s PR playbook and set up a shot where a photographer “accidentally” captures Bruce running errands, dressed as “her.” “He will set it up ahead of time and either come out on a normal day — and from then on he’ll be a woman in his daily life for the public — or he’ll go to a dinner and be in a dress. During a recent Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce special, taped earlier this year, Jenner told stepdaughter Khloé Kardashian he was planning to fully transition “probably in the spring.” If Jenner indeed reveals himself as female for the first time, it could net record-breaking newsstand sales for the Conde Nast title — whose best-selling cover, in September 2005, featured Jennifer Aniston’s first interview after separating from Brad Pitt. The photo shoot will apparently be timed to come out at around the same time as Jenner’s eight-part docuseries about his life that is scheduled to premiere on July 26. Leibovitz, a veteran photographer, most recently photographed the Star Wars: The Force Awakens cast for Vanity Fair’sJune cover and has chronicled the world’s biggest celebrities over her 40-plus year career, including Michael Jackson, George Clooney, Queen Elizabeth II, Johnny Depp and Lady Gaga.

Even better, we’re told Kim, whom Jenner called the most understanding of his life change in his ABC interview with Diane Sawyer, has completely “overhauled” her stepdad’s closet and turned him “high fashion.” We hear Bruce is excited to show us his look, and is the happiest he’s ever been. “He’s not angry at all anymore,” says our second source. “He can be who he is now.”
