Greg Plitt, a fitness model who starred on Bravo’s Work Out, was killed by a train in Burbank, Calif., Saturday afternoon in what Burbank Police Department’s Sgt. Greg Plitt Jr. “was as nice as he was beautiful,” tweeted talk show host Andy Cohen in the wake of a fatal accident over the weekend that claimed the life of the actor. Plitt, who starred in Bravo network shows “Work Out” and “Friends to Lovers,” was hit by a Metrolink passenger train and pronounced dead at the scene, said Burbank Police Sergeant Chris Canales.

The image obtained by KTLA is said to show Plitt, 37, of Los Angeles standing near the tracks before the southbound commuter train struck him about 4 p.m. Plitt appeared on soap opera Days of Our Lives from 2007 until 2008, when he switched over to reality TV to begin his run on fitness-focused Bravo series Work Out.

Plitt was described on his website as an “actor, model, entrepreneur and motivational speaker” who had appeared on more than 250 fitness magazine covers. Investigators, who interviewed witnesses who saw Plitt standing on the track even as the train’s horn was blaring, have ruled out a suicide, he said. Plitt was an actor on the “Days of Our Lives” daytime TV drama and was seen in several movies, including “The Good Shepherd” and “Terminator Salvation,” according to the website. In another segment, Plitt performs box jumps as a Metrolink train passes behind him. “This is a terrible tragedy,” Bravo tweeted. “Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Greg Plitt’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.” The West Point graduate and former U.S.
