Brad Pitt opens up on marriage and working relationship with Angelina Jolie.

Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt has opened up about the difficulties of starring alongside his wife in a film about a marriage breakdown, but admits he finds it sexy when she directs him.The A-lister opened up to V Magazine about his collaboration with off-screen wife Angelina Jolie for the movie, “By the Sea,” about a married couple struggling to stay together in 1970s France. And adding to the drama of the Jolie-written and directed movie that opens on Nov. 13: cameras started rolling immediately after their August 2014 wedding. It was filmed during the couple’s honeymoon following their wedding in France in August last year. “It was probably not the wisest way to spend a honeymoon,” the 51-year-old star said in an interview with V Magazine. “But then again, fighting to make something together…what better metaphor for marriage? “It’s not a film that responds to the current zeitgeist or storytelling.

Describing his wife’s film as a “a quiet, mature look at the challenges of love and adult loss,” Pitt said that he felt more pressure than on most pictures becuse, “naturally I didn’t want to fail Angie’s words.” Despite their decade-long relationship, the two only previously worked together on the 2005 action comedy, “Mr. & Mrs. Mr and Mrs Smith this is not. “By the Sea deals with that period when the honeymoon is well over and the couple is faced with the banality of every day and the pains of the unplanned.” Their latest film, which is released later this month, sees Angie’s character crying and slapping her lover as they try to overcome an increasingly dysfunctional relationship.

Pitt, who resembles a younger Robert Redford in the photos in the magazine that hits stands on Nov. 12, illuminated a little more about the writer he plays in the drama. Balkan war drama In the Land of Blood and Honey was nominated for best foreign language film at the Golden Globes in 2011, and last year’s Unbroken scored three Oscar nominations.
