Rest in peace. opened up for the first time since the July death of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, with the hosts of The Real, and the singer revealed that she might be in a better place now. “I’m pretty sure her mother [the late Whitney Houston] was … had a part with like, ‘Come on, let’s get her up here,’ in the best way possible,” an emotional Brown, 46, told the talk show hosts in a segment set to air Monday, Sept. 14. “She was not comfortable by herself, I guess, and she just called my daughter with her.” Bobbi Kristina died on Sunday, July 26, nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in her bathtub on Saturday, Jan. 31, by her longtime partner Nick Gordon. The American R&B singer admitted during his first TV interview since his only daughter’s death that he prayed for almost six months in the hope that his aspiring singer daughter would awake after being found unconscious in a bathtub at the end of January, the Mirror reported. An investigation surrounding cause of death is still ongoing. “We prayed and hoped for six months for something better to happen,” Brown said, referring to the time Bobbi Kristina spent in the hospital. “But when God calls you, he calls you.” Bobbi Kristina was Brown and Houston’s only daughter.

The 46-year-old ‘Candy Girl’ hit-maker added that her late wife Whitney Houston probably played a part in her daughter’s final days for welcoming her to her present world and taking his daughter with her to her world.
