Bobbi Kristina Brown Dies at 22, Family Confirms.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, died on Sunday, July 26, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga., according to ET. There were the adorable family snaps of the family at Disneyland, pictures of her on stage with Houston, and later, when she was a teenager, singing My Love Is Your Love on stage with her mother. The doomed young woman — the only child of music royalty Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown — never regained consciousness after she was found face-down and unresponsive.

She was also part of a long dynasty of performers: Her maternal grandmother was the gospel singer Cissy Houston, and Whitney Houston was the cousin of Dionne Warwick. The shocking death of her 48-year-old mega-star mom sent Bobbi Kristina into a spiral of depression, and she struggled with a drinking problem in the ensuing months.

A month after Houston died in 2012, Brown appeared on OWN’s Oprah’s Next Chapter series to talk about her mother’s death. “I can hear her voice and spirit talking to me, and telling me, ‘Keep moving, baby,’” Brown told Oprah Winfrey. “ ‘I’m right here, I gotcha.’” Brown went on to star in Lifetime’s The Houstons: On Our Own, a reality show that documented the Houstons’ lives after Whitney’s death. Then, in February 2012 when Bobbi Kristina was just 18, her mother died under similar circumstances, found immersed in water in the bath at the Beverly Hilton hotel, leaving Bobbi a reported $115 million inheritance. Once transferred to the medical facility, she was placed on a ventilator and had reportedly stabilized before her brain functions began to diminish substantially. The aspiring singer/actress — who marked her 22nd birthday while in a coma on March 4 — became the subject of family in-fighting during her time in medical limbo.

Just days before Bobbi was found unconscious and immersed in a bath tub, she had tweeted about wanting to “start this career” — she wanted to make a name for herself. In 2014, Brown claimed to have married Nick Gordon, a longtime friend who had lived with the Houstons as a child and whom Brown had referred to as a “big brother” previously.

Her court-appointed conservator filed a lawsuit charging her boyfriend Nick Gordon fought with Bobbi Kristina before she was discovered in the bathtub “with her mouth swollen and (a) tooth knocked out.” The Roswell, Ga., police mounted a criminal investigation into the case, but no charges were ever brought. After the media speculated about the nature of their union, and if Gordon had been adopted by Houston, Brown retorted on her Facebook, page, saying, “My mom never adopted him. Her aunt Leolah Brown, the sister of dad Bobby, wrote in a March Facebook post that Gordon was “under investigation for the attempted murder of my niece.” There were reports that Gordon and Bobbi were married, but the wedding rumors were refuted after her death. She reportedly referred to Gordon as her “husband”, however, her father Bobby Brown claimed Bobbi Kristina “is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon”.

With the singers smoking and tippling and making really bad jokes, theirs is not the tidiest of portraits, but it feels like an honest one,” wrote Gillian Flynn of “Being Bobby Brown” in Entertainment Weekly. And her hard-living dad Bobby Brown filed a recent lawsuit to take control of his comatose daughter’s estate, a move that could win him control of Bobbi’s multi-million dollar fortune.

Let’s start this career up&&moving OUT to TO YOU ALLLL quick shall we !?!???!
