‘She makes sure you know she’s rich': Bella Thorne explains why she hates Hollywood’s mystery ‘very, very mean girl’.

Bella Thorne’s remarks about there being a ‘mean girl’ in Hollywood set the rumor mill running in November, and now the teen actress is fueling the feud once again.Bella, 18, who attended both Lakeside and Chapel Trail elementary schools before moving to Los Angeles, was back on her old stomping ground to promote her part in the latest Alvin and the Chipmunks movie in the franchise.

Bella Thorne has expanded on comments she made about a mysterious Hollywood “mean girl”, revealing she doesn’t like the person because she “makes sure everyone knows” she has money. In an interview Tuesday with HuffPostLive, Bella talked about why she hates the unnamed young woman whom, she told Seventeen magazine, she ‘stays away from at all costs.’ ‘It’s not I hate her because she’s a billionaire. Bella Thorne made headlines in November when she blasted an unnamed Hollywood “mean girl” in her Seventeen magazine cover story, but the Big Sky star told HuffPost Live on Tuesday, December 15, that there was a “little part” missing from that interview.

The Road Chip brings the mischievous creatures — Alvin, Simon and Theodore — to Miami to try to stop their “dad,” music manager Dave (Jason Lee), from proposing to his doctor girlfriend Samantha (Kimberly Williams-Paisley). Bella has described the ‘mean girl’ as someone ‘in the business’ with siblings who has been ‘a billionaire since she was very little, and she’s never had to work for anything in her life.’ ‘If somebody wasn’t flaunting it in a mean way to make other people feel bad about themselves, then I would not mind it,’ the 18-year-old said. ‘It’s when people do it in certain types of ways that make you not appreciate them as much.’ Famous girls with siblings who’ve ‘never had to work for anything’ initially seemed to be pointing to Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who’ve mostly grown up as part of the extremely lucrative Keeping Up With The Kardashians gravy train.

Though Bella has modeled, written a series of young adult books for Random House (Autumn Falls) and acted in a number of TV shows (Shake It Up, Scream) and movies (The DUFF, Blended Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day), she hadn’t done much in the animation arena. “I loved Alvin growing up,” Bella says of the sequel’s appeal. “And this one is very entertaining — there’s a lot of music and dancing and some great new characters. Her younger sister Bella Hadid, 19, is pals with Bell Thorne so the two would have run across each other fairly often and Gigi also has a brother and several half-siblings and step-siblings. Some commentators thought she could be referring to singer Ariana Grande, 22, who comes from a very wealthy background and started her music and acting career as a young teen. I love that guy,” says Bella, adding that she has her very own version of a spoilsport at home: her Husky Hades, aka (affectionately) “Demon Dog.” “My big dog is the Grinch considering he likes to knock down the tree,” she says. “I don’t know what’s wrong with him. I get very angry with Demon Dog.” Also mixing things up at the house is her cat Louis V (short for Louis Vuitton) and Kingston, a Maltipoo that has a fondness for Angus beef but doesn’t get much respect in the Thorne household. “I have every line of that movie memorized, so it would be so easy for me,” she says. “I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.

Having had a part in Transformers: Age Of Extinction, she currently has a recurring role on TV’s Bates Motel and walked the runway for the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week in October.
