Bruce Wayne is unmasked in new trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice..

Batman has been unmasked, and it turns out he was a stubbly Ben Affleck all along! In case the title Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice wasn’t enough, we now have another teaser featuring the intense dislike between Zack Snyder’s Batman and Superman. In the short sneak peek clip, released on November 30, Superman (played by Henry Cavill) lands in an underground bunker and has soldiers kneeling to him.

The 50-second teaser shows Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman suitably annoyed at each other as we see The Man of Steel and The Dark Knight engage in an intense staring match. Warner Bros dropped a 49-second teaser for Zack Snyder’s sequel last night, which sees Batman chained up alongside two other unknown men (accomplices?) in a desert bunker. Jersey-born hunk Henry Cavill, who plays the last Kryponian, is shown gawping angrily at the now unmasked Bruce Wayne before the clip, which preposterously is a teaser for a teaser which is being shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, comes to a cliffhanger close.

Superman rips off the Bat’s mask, presumably to humiliate him and, I’d guess, make some remark about how he doesn’t need to hide behind one (though this isn’t included in the teaser). Ageing star Ben, 44, who has taken over the iconic role from the more likeable Christian Bale for the DC Comics tentpole, has just admitted the strain of being in such a big movie is overwhelming him. The trailer isn’t hugely elucidating, given we all know Ben Affleck is the new Batman, but this is the first time we’ve technically seen him out of costume as Bruce Wayne.

If it doesn’t do well, that will be extremely disappointing.’ Just days before he was due to join fellow cast members at San Diego’s Comic-Con to promote the picture, he and wife Jennifer Garner announced they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage. Other cast members include Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Holly Hunter as U.S. The split was said to have been fueled by the actor’s friendship with the family’s former nanny Christine Ouzounian who was rumored to have had an affair with the star.

Why do Affleck and Cavill look so disgusted with each other? (Or is that a look of anger?) Did Clark Kent only just figure out that Batman is Bruce Wayne? When will we see Flash and Aquaman? (Okay, maybe not that one.) Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. Another film set in the DC universe already in the can is Suicide Squad, where he takes on Jared Leto’s Joker, that’s slated to bow in theatres next summer.

Coming so soon after Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War’s trailer, a comparison between the two franchises’ superhero clashes seems inevitable, despite one being the first official trailer and the other, one of many teasers.
