At least one ‘Fifty Shades’ sex scene didn’t make it into the movie

‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ film won’t feature book’s infamous ‘tampon scene’.

When you’re adapting a book like Fifty Shades of Grey into a movie, there are bound to be issues when it comes to deciding how much of the stuff the book told you’re actually going to show. With fame comes great responsibility and for a starlet such as Dakota Johnson, that responsibility is a major magazine cover before your film comes yet.Taylor-Wood, who previously directed acclaimed John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy, went on to discuss the film’s split between sex scenes and non-sex scenes, saying: “It’s say it’s pretty 50/50.Jamie told OK! magazine that when he told his wife Amelia Warner he had been offered the part, she was pregnant with their 14-month-old daughter Dulcie. “A lot of people would have had a … fit at 30-something weeks pregnant hearing, ‘Darling, we’re going to Vancouver this week for four months – we’re going to have a Canadian baby and I’m going to do a film where, for parts of it, I will be naked.’ “I think about my dwindling anonymity,” she said, “and that’s really scary because a very large part of me would be perfectly happy living on a ranch in Colorado and having babies and chickens and horses – which I will do anyway.” “I do a bit of press for Fifty, and then I’m just going to take the rest of the year off. And while there are many, many sex scenes in the Fifty Shades book, one in particular that will definitely not be in the movie, and it’s probably a good thing.

Johnson is an actor best known for her roles in The Social Network and 21 Jump Street, but mostly for being the less famous Dakota (Fanning being the other one). It’s a completely different medium.” The first draft of Kelly Marcel’s script was reportedly toned down to secure the film an R rating, as opposed to the more restrictive NC-17 certificate. People who haven’t read the books might be surprised that there isn’t more sex on the screen, but that’s because they’ve gone by media reports of Fifty Shades, which have tended to err on the side of the sensational. For those not in the know about the notorious tampon incident, it essentially involves Christian wanting to have sex in the bathroom and Ana explaining that she cannot as she is on her period. One scene we can look forward to is the final encounter between Christian and Ana in the first of EL James’ bestselling novels – the one “where Ana asks him to do his worst to show her how bad it’s going to get”.

The styling is also safe but requisitely haute – think labels Balenciaga, Carven and Derek Lam in various shades of beige and taupe – but (zany alert) she’s trouserless in almost half the pictures. As Cindy Crawford recently lamented: “I feel like I lived through the heyday of modelling … models are not really getting covers now.” Called it!
