Arrow Vs Flash: Who would win?

‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Cisco impresses Lisa Snart with his ‘guns’; Eddie becomes Cobalt Blue.

When The Flash kicks off its second season, the scarlet speedster will be bringing some new friends (and foes!) with him when he returns from gallantly running into the singularity in the season 1 finale.

“The Flash” will return with season 2 on 6 October and ahead of that, The CW has released a new extended trailer, which features the debut of some of the most popular characters from the DC universe. The upcoming season will see more than one Flash, a new well-intentioned police officer and the big bad – bigger and badder than anything we have seen before. To aid in that feeling, The CW released a whole bunch of photos from “The Man Who Saved Central City,” and there were quite a few things that caught my eye. Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), the first Flash, is fighting a villain named Zoom, and he has come to Central City to warn his successor that by opening the portal, Barry (Grant Gustin) has opened a gate for Zoom. EST. stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon and Jesse L.

For starters, it looks like Central City really will be throwing the Fastest Man Alive a celebration of some kind, which is probably the least he can do since he saved the day by plunging headfirst into danger at the end of Season 1. Seeing that the man in yellow was getting the upper hand, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) decided to shoot himself, knowing it would effectively erase his descendant from the timeline. Following the defeat of Barry Allen’s arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash quickly turned their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, which fans last saw consuming everything in its path. It appears that Barry will end up on Earth-Two, essentially opening up a wormhole that allows new and maybe familiar metahumans to cross over and wreck havoc in Central City — in particular, Zoom, who will be voiced by Tony Todd, though the identity of who’s really portraying the character is being kept under wraps.

In a poll we conducted for “The Flash” fans, wherein we asked if Eddie might return, almost 40% felt that he would, while 25% believed he could be the reverse flash. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but will he actually be able to save his city from impending doom?

Whether Wells is around because the timeline was changed or he’s a counterpart from an alternate Earth, he won’t be exactly the same man the gang at S.T.A.R. Lisa, who loves teasing Cisco, may get a taste of her own medicine, when a more powerful and more confident Vibe starts responding to her suggestive comments. Plus: During The Flash and Arrow’s annual crossover episode, the characters from Legends of Tomorrow will appear, setting up the new midseason spin-off.

Naturally, many fans assume something bad will happen to Ronnie, which seems cruel to Caitlin Snow (or is it Caitlin Raymond now?) considering how often she’s already had her heart yo-yo back and forth between having her love and losing him.
