Iggy Azalea responds to T.I.: ‘I’m chillin’.

On Wednesday T.I. revealed during an interview with New York radio station Hot 97 he “took a bit of a rest stop” with her, leading people to believe they have parted ways professionally and socially. “Heres the deal, I am still signed to @tip and do business with him.

But in a recent interview with Ebro in the Morning on New York’s Hot 107, T.I. acknowledged that he has stepped back from being involved in Azalea’s career. Im sure tip will publicly clarify what he meant when he feels he has the right platform to do so and other than that, im chillin. have a great day guys. :-)” Fellow female emcee Azealia Banks claimed the Australian Fancy hitmaker was a complete rip-off. Then hip hop legend Q-Tip of Tribe Called Quest, who is considered royalty by many in the rap community, stepped into the matter by issuing a moving statement on the situation.

Iggy brushed off Q-Tip’s poignant observations by tweeting she was unwilling to “play hip-hop squares with strangers to somehow prove I deserve to be a fan of or influenced by hip-hop”. “After I kind of had smoothed it over like okay, ‘What is really meant to be said here is…’ After it was cool, everything was cool, and then they kind of came back and undid what I had just [done],” T.I. noted to Hot 97. But when I say go, go.” Azalea still has a business relationship with T.I.’s Grand Hustle label (his own “The Dime Trap” will drop in November).
