Anne Hathaway Responds to Trainwreck Diss by Predicting an Oscar for Amy Schumer.

The Oscar and Golden Globe winner — spurn of the Hathahaters following an invective-filled 2013 award season — saw Schumer’s raunchy comedy on Monday weekend and took a snipe about her in stride by posting a picture of her ticket stub on Instagram with this caption: “Dear @AmySchumer,Don’t pretend like when you win your Oscar- which you could for your brilliant and refreshing writing and/or acting in @TrainwreckMovie- you won’t tote it around to every Oscar party you go to.Way to slay,Annie” Dear @AmySchumer, Don’t pretend like when you win your Oscar- which you could for your brilliant and refreshing writing and/or acting in @TrainwreckMovie- you won’t tote it around to every Oscar party you go to. Way to slay, Annie The “Les Miserables” star, 32, was referring to Schumer’s character calling out her boyfriend (Bill Hader) for acting like the Hathaway on Oscar night when he won a charity award in the film. (Hathaway drew social media ire beginning with her Golden Globes acceptance speech that ran all the way up to the Oscars in 2013.) Turns out comedian’s disdain for the “Princess Diaries” alum doesn’t hold up in real life, with the “Inside Amy Schumer” star responding to the quip on Twitter. “I love you Anne Hathaway. Judd Apatow, who directed the film, chimed in on the joke, assuring moviegoers – and Hathaway – that no disrespect was meant by the gentle ribbing.

But the director/producer did not ignore Schumer’s blast and defended his gibe saying that Hader “looked like an Oscar winning actress at an Oscar party!”
