An emotional Anna Duggar is detailing the moment she learned her husband Josh had been cheating on her in a preview for this week’s episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

“So not only was it a betrayal against me but it was also a betrayal for those who call themselves Christians,” Anna says in new clip from TLC special “Jill and Jessa: Counting On” Anna Duggar opens up about the various scandals plaguing her husband, disgraced “19 Kids and Counting” star Josh Duggar, in a new clip from “Jill and Jessa: Counting On.” “I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we’re working through,” Anna says in the clip. “It was hard to realize that it was such a public thing. The Voice aired its Season 9 finale on Tuesday, December 15, revealing its winner after performances by such big-name artists as Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, and Coldplay. And so, for my heart, it was just broken.’ It was revealed in August that Josh had an account on the cheating website Ashley Madison, and soon after porn star Danica Dillon came forward claiming the pair had sex on two occasions. ‘Josh was my first love, my one and only, but I knew that my only hope was to cling to my faith, because I knew if I went off of what I was feeling, I would turn a mess into a disaster,’ she says. Capping a season for the NBC series that involved some incredible music moments, not to mention plenty of flirting between lovebirds Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, four singers were still in the running heading into the last episode: Jordan Smith, from Adam Levine’s team; Emily Ann Roberts and Barrett Baber of Team Blake; and Gwen Stefani’s Jeffery Austin.

I knew we needed help, and I was just praying God would give the wisdom and the help that we needed to take the next step.” While we see shots of Anna taking care of daughter Meredith Grace – who was born in July, not quite two months after Josh found himself embroiled in scandal for the first time this year when he admitted to inappropriate behavior with five underage girls as a teen – Josh’s younger sister Jinger, 21, praises her strong sister-in-law. “Anna is amazing,” says Jinger. “She displays to each one of us what it is to have unconditional love, and she’s walking through this better than any one of us could have ever imagined.” Older sister Jill added; ’We definitely learned from that situation, we are not responsible for somebody else’s life choices, but it hurts when you are there. ‘It doesn’t mean it doesn’t leave a scar but you move on, you have boundaries then you start to rebuild and you go on with life, but that was really, really hard.’ John-David Duggar, Josh’s younger brother, said; ‘I always wanted to be like him. Jordan, 21, tells Us Weekly that he has changed dramatically since he started on the singing competition, as it has made him a more confident performer. “I’m still becoming used to it, but I know that this is so surreal, and I’m so blessed just to have been a part of this and to have grown so much,” Jordan says. “I think the greatest thing you can do as an artist is just keep learning and understand that you’ve never arrived at the end of your journey.

Whenever somebody you respect the most is willing to get up and proclaim what we believe as Christians, about being true to your wife, you’d never think that that’s the person who’s involved in it.’ Josh confessed to his affairs in a letter this past August, writing; ‘I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. Just days before Dillon first came forward with the details of their relationship, but before she filed her lawsuit, Josh and Anna sold their Arkansas home to a family friend. I realized that he’s been slowly bringing out an artist that I had inside of me that I didn’t know about, and in that moment, I was like, ‘Well, there he is!

Jessa and Jill both admitted that they shouldn’t have defended Josh from criticism after it was first revealed that he molested several young girls when he was a teenager. learned that on August 24, the couple sold their five-bedroom home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, for $65,000 to ALB Investments LLC, which appears to be a company set up on the same day by their attorney Travis W.

That’s what we’ve been working towards!’ So it was really cool.” The Lee University student says he wants his music to let listeners know there are “other people out there who feel the same way as you do and who understand what you’re going through.” He adds that singing “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” on Monday carried particular significance for him. “It’s really special to me in my life right now because I feel that as the show is ending, I’m at the foot of another mountain, you know, that I’m going to have to work really hard to make this a career for myself and really hard to make it in the industry, and so that was a special song,” he says.
