‘By the Sea’ Trailer: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Play Unhappy Couple.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt play an unhappily married couple in the first trailer for By the Sea, their first co-starring movie since 2005’s Mr. and Mrs. After disclosing news of their upcoming venture ‘By the Sea’, American actress Angelina Jolie had admitted that it was excruciating for her to direct the fight scene with husband Brad Pitt. The film written and directed by Jolie, 40, chronicles the story of an unhappy couple where the 51-year-old “World War Z” actor plays the husband, reported E!

Describing how it made for awkward moments on set because of the depths the characters went to, she said: “I’d be directing myself and him in a scene where we’re having a fight, and I’d be pulling out the parts [of him] that have an aggression toward me or when you’re frustrated with each other — it was very heavy.” She continued: “We kept joking that all of the crew felt like they were living in a house where the parents were fighting and you don’t know where to stand or where to look.” – who has kids Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 7 with Angelina – revealed his latest inking in his large collection of tattoos, on his right forearm. Well, every married couple knows what it’s like to be on vacation with a loved one and hate their guts at one point or another, but when you see Angelina and Brad doing it, it just hurts even more, y’know? Five years ago, when the actress and fillmmaker was writing the screenplay for In the Land of Blood and Honey, a love story amid the Bosnian War, she wrestled with the idea of turning it over to another director. As Brangelina approach their one-year wedding anniversary, the duo have completed their second collaboration, in which they star as an on-screen couple. The film follows an American writer, Roland (Pitt), and his wife, Vanessa (Jolie), who deal with a crisis in their marriage while staying at a peaceful seaside resort in 1970s France.

Online reported The mother of six asserted that she is proud of the fact that they both gave it a try, adding that she thinks it to be the hardest film for her as she doesn’t do something like this very much. Smith—Jolie’s previous two directorial efforts prove that she’s unflinching in the level of brutality and heartbreak she’s willing to bring to the screen. (And she’s already said that she and Pitt drew on some of their real-life tensions for the fight scenes.) But who doesn’t want to watch the world’s most glamorous couple duke it out onscreen? She’s working alongside husband Brad Pitt in the marital drama. “It’s probably not an accident that the films that I care about happen to be about issues that matter to me, stories that I want to tell. After marrying in August 2014, the power couple had an “unconventional” honeymoon: they immediately flew to Malta with their six children to begin filming the romantic drama. The film, in which Jolie is using her married name, “Jolie Pitt,” marks her directorial follow-up to 2014’s Unbroken. “This is a story about a relationship derailed by loss, the tenacity of love, and the path to recovery and acceptance,” Jolie said of the film in a statement when its release date was announced. “It has been a privilege to explore these universal human experiences with such a generous and talented cast and crew.”

What I realized [years ago] is that I never loved acting,” Jolie summed up. “To me the strangest thing is that I’ve just spent the majority of my life in one aspect of this business, and because I was fortunate enough to become successful I never questioned whether I felt at home, and found out later in life that I’m much happier directing.”
