Adele and Jimmy Fallon Perform ‘Hello’ With Classroom Instruments.

After hosting Adele for an interview, performance, and “Box of Lies” session on Monday night, Jimmy Fallon saved the best for last on Tuesday when he joined the record-breaking singer for one of his unplugged, classroom instrument versions of her hit “Hello” with a little help from The Roots. After Adele’s record-breaking studio album 25 sold 2.3 million copies in the United States in just three days, the singer appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Monday, where she also made the first live performance of her new song Water Under the Bridge.

Adele’s earth-shaking rendition of “Hello” on Saturday Night Live this past weekend still hasn’t made its way online, but a short GIF from the end of her appearance has made the rounds. The singer closed out her elegant performance by making this face: Adele, whose third album 25 hit shelves on Friday, stopped by The Tonight Show on Monday to talk to Jimmy Fallon about her SNL appearance — her first since 2008 — explaining she was so nervous something would go wrong on live TV, that the face was made out of relief at the performance being over. “I had no idea I was still being filmed. The English singer and songwriter also revealed in an interview with ETalk that she’s very much willing to do a mashup cover of Drake’s Hotline Bling.
