Adele has girls’ night out with Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone following Jimmy Fallon appearance.

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you:, and Adele hit the town together last night in New York City. , Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone all went to dinner Monday night, an event that ranks somewhere around the signing of the Geneva Convention and the release of Sgt.

The A-list trio grabbed dinner at Cosme, an upscale Mexican restaurant in the Flatiron district, shortly after Adele wrapped up her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The glittering troika grabbed some grub at upscale Mexican eatery Cosme and it’s not the first time in the last week that the gals have caught up with each other. In January, the two convened with Harry Styles in Los Angeles, where the group allegedly “threw olives at people walking by” (yes, that’s right—you know, we really feel like that gossip item never got its due). Three days later the British songbird met up with Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson for a casual dinner at the Waverly Inn in the West Village. Meanwhile, Stone and Lawrence—while not necessarily photographed together often, or anything—do share some sort of long-standing bond, as Lawrence famously (admittedly, “famously” in our own mind, probably not to the general world) once shouted to the E! red-carpet Mani Cam, in 2013, “Your ass is mine, Stone!” Stone and Adele have no previous connection that we know of, other than that it just makes intuitive sense that they would get along really well, right?

The ladies—who have two Academy Awards and three Oscar nominations between them—were photographed smiling and laughing together in the back of a shared town car, too. Where do three of the most popular celebrities on the planet go when they want to get away from the madness, the paparazzi, the not-so-covert eyes of people on the street pretending they’re waiting for a cab while they’re really trying to take a picture of them? The dinner comes as it was announced that Adele’s new album “25” has sold an astounding 2.3 million copies stateside in just three days since it was released. And while we noted that this mega-talented trio trumps T-Swift’s rotating lineup of onstage BFFs, the pop star herself would likely be a welcome addition to any Adele, Jen and Emma hangout sesh. The trio dined at Cosme, a joint which serves “contemporary Mexican-inspired cuisine.” Their “beverage program” (definitely the least weird way to refer to a drinks menu) “focuses on artisanal spirits.” Persimmon-infused margaritas all around! (You just know the meal started with the waiter asking, “Would you guys like guac?,” followed by J.Law shouting, “Um, more like, ‘Would you guys like all the guac?’ The answer is yes.”) There is no way for us to know for sure (believe us, we have spent the past three hours questioning hundreds of random passers-by outside Cosme for any possible leads, to no avail), but we imagine it went something like this: Adele [cackling]: “I feel like . . . oh, you know, you two are these glamorous Hollywood movie stars, and I’m just like a mom from the middle of nowhere in England.” Stone [overdramatic nodding]: “Oh right, oh right, just a regular mom from the middle of nowhere!

Adele wore Converse and probably listened very intently as Stone and Lawrence discussed their love lives — Adele truly has A-List breakup BFF services. J Law’s on-again, off-again relationship with Coldplay’s Chris Martin seems off-again, while amazing spider couple Stone and Andrew Garfield have reportedly called it quits after several years and one franchise. Maybe Lawrence offered to pay (“C’mon, guys, I got those Katniss coins”) and the other two just let her, since it hardly matters when it comes to splitting a $121 check when you have the resources these three have.

As she recently told Entertainment Weekly, who named her their 2015 Entertainer of the Year, she has “a very small circle” for exactly this reason. “The moment I feel like someone is using me or is in it for the wrong reasons, I have zero guilt about just cutting them the f—k out of my life,” she said. “My bulls—t detector is phenomenal. Stone’s place for some leftover pie and to watch an episode of Master of None? (“Adele, you’re gonna love this show.”) To meet up with Amy Schumer on the Lower East Side? The Three Stooges, while comedy icons, did not anchor a best-selling YA film franchise, sell an astonishing amount of records, or date Andrew Garfield.
