Adele goes undercover, pranks fans.

As well as performing and chatting with Graham Norton during the TV special, she filmed a comedy sketch, donning a prosthetic chin and nose to subtly alter her appearance for the audition.Surprisingly, none of the contestants recognised her — thanks to her make-up artist who gave her catty eyes, a fake long nose, a protruding chin, and thin lips to conceal her true identity. The clip, which can be seen below, was filmed as part of a BBC music special which aired on TV last night (November 20) and was hosted by Graham Norton. If you’re pretty bummed out that Adele wouldn’t be releasing her latest album on any streaming services, here’s a treat from the top British singer-songwriter.

IN case you didn’t already have a million reasons to love Adele, this brilliant performance by the singer is guaranteed to make you both laugh and cry.Grammy-award winning singer Adele successfully pulled off a prank on her impersonators as she disguised herself as a fellow imitator named “Jenny.” In collaboration with BBC’s Graham Norton, Adele pretended to be an impersonator of herself and hid her identity by wearing a prosthetic nose and chin. Throughout the performances, the singer played along backstage with the other ‘Adeles’, trying her best to be un-Adele-like, and they fell for it… till she took her turn and sang on stage. She then lines up alongside the rest of the lookalikes in a sing-off, chatting to them behind the scenes. “I can’t wait for 25!” one of women says as the real Adele replies, “She’s taking her time.” “I’d like to see you say that to her face,” another one adds, unaware of who she is talking to. Adele earlier released three songs from her third album ’25’ but opted to make the others available for download through iTunes and Amazon instead of streaming them via digital music services.

As soon as she started singing “Make You Feel My Love”, however, every impersonator’s face dawned with shocked recognition of the epic prank she’d just pulled off. In the message posted online, Adele said she was “grateful to be able to even put another record out” and added the promoting the album around the world in recent weeks has “literally taken my breath away.” See the full message below: “This feels like such a long time coming, my new album is finally out. I hope you enjoy the record as much as I enjoyed making it for you.” Meanwhile, it doesn’t appear that withholding the album from streaming sites such as Apple Music and Spotify has harmed Adele’s sales power.

It is almost overwhelming to think that we met our idol.” Stacey Lee Richards, a vocalist and Adele tribute act, said: ” ‘ I thought she was strange and strange looking, but I didn’t want to judge her. I didn’t realise it was her until the second verse as I didn’t think anything like that would ever happen to me and I didn’t believe it for two days afterwards.” Comments that are judged to be defamatory, abusive or in bad taste are not acceptable and contributors who consistently fall below certain criteria will be permanently blacklisted.
